What is Push-to-talk (PTT)?

Push-to-talk (PTT) is an instant one-to-many or one-to-one mobile voice communication that can usually only be achieved with a handheld radio device. The delays of protracted dialling, engaged tones or answering of a regular phone call are eliminated as the user presses the PTT button to speak and releases it on completion to have the voice message delivered instantly.

Especially in our new COVID-19 working environment, we are finding instances where a Zoom or Skype call isn’t always practical or possible for many industries, particularly those where there is constant dialogue required throughout the day. WAVE™ PTX can put you in touch with your team at the click of a button and doesn’t interfere with home internet requirements.
