The Perth Arena is host to some of the most amazing events Western Australia has seen. Widely reported as Australia’s finest venue, the 15,500 capacity facility features breathtaking design and world-leading technology.

The Challenge

To effectively run events safely and efficiently, the Perth Arena Events Teams require a communication system capable of managing high capacity traffic and multiple talk groups to cater for services such as cleaning, maintenance, hospitality and security.

The Solution

CSE Crosscom designed, commissioned and installed a Mototrbo DMR trunked system for the Perth Arena in 2013, and still continue to support their system. The system allows for the ability to scale up and down as required. It manages hundreds of radios across the network and the built in capacity ensures that there are no busy signals.

The digital nature of the Perth Arena system ensures crystal clear voice transmissions even in high noise environments. The system supports emergency management procedures whereby emergency personnel can take control of communications on every talk group providing necessary instruction to respond to any crisis as rapidly as possible.
